PT Scale Services was founded in 1996. Harnessing experience of the Weighing and Packaging Industry in order to fill a gap in the market place, providing a much-needed 24-hour breakdown and technical support service, initially to the grain milling industry.
Today, PT Scale Services has expanded its client base to include tea producers, bakeries, chemical industry and the fertilizer industry to name a few. The great diversity of the client base proves the strength and flexibility of the company as well as the skills, knowledge and quality service provided by the two directors, Pieter and Willem.

PT Scale Services is the Western and Northern Cape agent for AccuTech Weighing Equipment. Providing Sales, Service and installing on weighing equipment such as process weighers, high speed bagging machines, batch mixing control, blending systems and mill monitoring systems. Now also available is the Palamatic Lifting equipment from UK. Special projects are also undertaken, which includes material storage and transfer, automatic bag placing and palletizing.

PT Scale Services is also the Western Cape agent for Buckle Packaging and Engineering. Again providing Sales, Service and installing on the Fischbein stitchers, Saxon continuous heat-sealing equipment and many other forms of bag closing equipment.

Consumables such as Polo and Jumbo threads, needles, machine oil etc are kept in stock. This is part of the company’s expansion plans, in order to supply a fuller service.
PT Scale Services offers a 24-hour backup service, and fully comprehensive Service Contracts. (Cutting downtime in loss of production and ensuring optimum productivity).This is done both in the relevant factories and in our workshops, depending on the client’s needs and is not restricted to Fischbein Stitchers only, but to all the stitchers on the market as well.We always strive to give our customers the best attention and service at all times.
