This latest generation
of SAXON bag closers - SAXON 5 - not only performs as
well as its sleek looks imply,
but takes the technology of bag closing to the threshold
of a new era. The patented and proven 'Hot-Air'
sealing method that eliminates old-fashioned and expensive
sealing bands has been redesigned to
incorporate the latest P.l.D. temperature control mechanisms.
SAXON 5 needs no external air supply for the
heater module.
The digital temperature readout accurately controls the
efficient sealing of materials of all thicknesses up to
10009 (10 mil or 250 microns) thus producing our distinctive
crimped seal or other sealing patterns in a
uniform way.
With every part of the machine fully accessible for maintenance,
experienced labour is not necessary with
SAXON 5. Moreover, many of the parts are designed on a
'plug-in' modular replacement basis. This versatile
machine possesses a movable sealing head, a deep throat
and an 'easy-lift' column for fast height
adjustments. Even the powder coat finish is designed for
hard work. lt can be used as a free-standing unit
on an adjustable column and mobile trolley or incorporated
with a conveyor. |

The SAXON 2 'Hot-Air' Continuous
Heat Sealer will seal all thermoweldable materials and
will satisfy the needs of companies with applications
often found in smaller factories or where plastic bag
closing is a small part of an operation. The patented,
and proven, 'Hot-Air' sealing method, that eliminates
old fashion and expensive sealing bands, has been. used
in this latest machine in the SAXON family.
Designed and manufactured using computer technology but
relying on the most straightfonrvard production methods,
the
SAXON 2 has a laser cut sheet metal body so precise that
assembly is ultra simple. Specially designed die cast
components combine with the other parts to give this new
machine a built-in reliablity factor that will allow it
to work in the toughest of factory environments.
The SAXON 2 produces the distinctive crimped seal of the
SAXON range of sealers. The SAXON 2 utilises a P.l.D.
temperature controller providing a visual readout of the
sealing temperature and r€quires no external air
supply for the
heater modules. The machine has many built-in safety features,
and every component is accessible for easy maintenance.
Experienced labour is not iequired as many of the parts
can be replaced on a plug-in basis. This etfectively reduces
maintenance down-time to a minimum.
The SAXON 2 is of rugged construction and has been designed
as a multi-purpose sealer. lt can be used as a free-standing
unit on an adjustable column and mobile trolley or incorporated
with a light duty conveyor. |
